This is where I share my larger published writings. These are the stories that have changed me completely. I hope they will move you forward on your journey as well.
A farewell to Laude Lekpo
Galvanized by the death of my younger brother, my spiritual teammate, in 2012, I set off on a pilgrimage to the mystical realms of India and Tibet. My brother had spent years as a Bonpo practicioner at Menri Monastery in Dolanji, India. I traveled there to learn about my brother’s life, engage in my own grieving process, and encounter the people and places which had meant so much to my brother.
I drew upon a newfound sense of connection to the other side, supported by my brother, to guide and enrich my experiences.
There were many unanswered questions. Were my brother's memories of his past life as a Bonpo Tolku real? Was his sacred meditation cave in the Tibetan mountains blocked from the light? Could I find it, and spread his ashes at the cave - thus completing my quest of assisting my brother’s spirit in releasing its bonds from this world? These questions, and their surprising answers, came in a life-changing and memorable journey which I share in this work. The book is tentatively titled Honoring Eric: A Farewell to Laude Lekpo (Loud – Ay, Leg – Poe).
READ AN EXCERPT
Below is a chapter from the book, called Taj, where I encounter the Taj Mahal in a completely unexpected way. It sets up the main story of the work, as I begin step across the bridge into the mystical.
